FAQ Q: Can I use these images for comping purposes? A: You're able to utilize any and all images on RASCONA stock for comping without being charged. Q: Do I have to become a dues paying member in order to browse images? A: Not at all. Q: Do I have to register with the site to browse images? A: Not really for the search aspect of the site, however, if you want to view enlarged images or utilize the Lightbox you'll have to register on the LOGIN or establish an account with us before the program will enable those features. Q: Can I purchase images online? A: Currently, you can purchase an image by email or by phone request only. In about a months time, we'll have a classic shopping cart to enable you to make an immediate online purchase, with your favorite credit card, via a secure connection. Q: What will you do with my information you collect? A: Beyond identifying the user to our site, absolutely nothing. In the future we may make it feasible for you to receive updates on additions to the library or not...with the click of a button via your email address you supplied. Q: What stops me from dragging an image to my desktop and using it on the Web or some other communication venue without paying for it? A: Nothing... we make the assumption that you're a creative professional and are working to uphold industry standards that we all depend on. Q: Can I alter the character of the image I select via Photoshop and or any other electronic image manipulating software? A: We prefer you don't, however we accept that you may need a portion of the image selected for a given design concept and so we will "look the other way". Keep in mind though that the image rights originally purchased will stay with the image and are not transferred to any individual or third party in the creative process. Q: Can I get an original transparency sent to me? A: They're all on file and so the answer would be yes, although we refrain from sending out original film and would prefer to produce a high quality scan per your directions. If you still need an original we'll do what we need to support your creative team. Q: If I need a higher dpi level can you manage this for me? A: Once notified by you with your requirements, we can organize a high end drum scan as needed and depending on the time we receive your order, can process the request and get it uploaded to your FTP site within 24hrs or it can be sent out to you via the normal overnight carriers as your deadline demands. |
